At Brew-itCafe, every batch of coffee is roasted with precision, sustainability, and flavour at the heart of the process. Our signature roasting method uses an oxygen-free environment to unlock the full flavour potential of each bean, creating a cleaner, smoother taste that stays fresh longer than traditional roasts.
We roast small-batch coffee using direct hot air convection, not heated drums. This ensures the beans roast evenly inside and out without surface scorching, delivering exceptional clarity, balanced body, and vibrant aroma. Each roast is monitored to the second and adjusted within 0.1°C, guaranteeing absolute consistency and flavour accuracy.
1) Precision Blending & Quality Control
Every single-origin coffee and specialty coffee blend we create follows a strict recipe. Our beans are weighed to the gram using built-in scales before roasting, with strong magnets filtering out any foreign matter. We track every batch from farm to cup using advanced software, ensuring full traceability and ethical sourcing.
2) Cooling the Right Way
Once roasted, beans are air-cooled inside the roaster—no water, no smoke—locking in flavour and maintaining roast consistency. This method also prevents flavour contamination and ensures a fresher, cleaner brew.
3) Environmentally Friendly Roasting
Our roasting technology is among the most sustainable coffee roasting systems in the UK, using up to 80% less gas than conventional roasters. Built from stainless steel and fully computerised, our machines follow our custom roast profiles with unmatched precision, making our process both eco-conscious and high-performance.
4) De-Stoning & Resting for Freshness
After roasting, all beans pass through a de-stoner to remove natural debris from the harvesting process. We then allow the coffee to rest and degas before packaging, ensuring it’s ready to deliver the perfect cup the moment it reaches you.
